Citrus Selections

Citrus is where PR Agrifresh is strongest. Mandarins from China and South Africa cover the full year, filling the long gap after India's kinnow and Nagpur santra seasons close. Oranges from South Africa and Egypt run January to September across Valencia and Navel types. Grapefruit from South Africa and Turkey covers February to August, including Star Ruby red flesh.

The fastest-growing part of the Indian market and the reason exotic fruit suppliers in India are being approached by retail chains that never carried these lines before. Kiwifruit from New Zealand and Italy runs April to December in both green and gold. Dragon fruit from Vietnam is available year-round in red and white flesh. Avocados from New Zealand and South Africa cover March to November, with ripening performance selected for retail and food-service programmes.
